Bala is a classic New York "character".  Like many such characters, he doesn't even technically live in New York.  But besides splitting his time between his home in New Jersey, his work in Chennai, India, and his preferred haunts in the Washington Square Park area of Manhattan, Bala is an avid vegetarian and gun enthusiast.

He has a mind for business, Ferraris, and mobile computing.  And if you can understand what he is saying through his thick south Indian accent, you will be all the better for it.
